Frequently asked questions
Here are some answers to a few questions people commonly ask me. If you have any other questions please reach out to me. I will typically respond within 24-48 hours.
Contact MeWhat topics do you typically cover in your talks?
I cover a wide range of topics related to Israel, including U.S.-Israel relations, Jewish and Zionist history, and Israel advocacy. My extensive knowledge and experience as a tour guide allow me to provide in-depth insights into Israel’s geopolitical situation, its rich cultural heritage, and its modern-day challenges. I can tailor my talks to focus on specific aspects of these topics, such as the historical development of Zionism, the intricacies of Israel’s political landscape, or strategies for effective Israel advocacy in various settings.
Are your talks suitable for audiences with little prior knowledge of Israel and the Middle East?
Yes, absolutely. I pride myself on my ability to engage audiences of all backgrounds and knowledge levels. For those with little prior knowledge, I start with the basics and gradually build up to more complex ideas, using relatable examples and clear explanations. My goal is to make the subject matter accessible and interesting for everyone, whether they’re longtime Israel enthusiasts or complete newcomers to the topic.
Do you offer virtual or online presentations?
Yes, I offer virtual and online presentations. In light of recent global changes, I’ve adapted my speaking style and content to be just as engaging in a digital format. These virtual talks can be interactive, allowing for Q&A sessions and even virtual “tours” of specific sites in Israel using images and videos.
What kind of audiovisual equipment or support do you require for your presentations?
For in-person presentations, I typically provide maps, images, and other visual aids to be displayed on your computer or projector. A dry-erase board can also be very useful for drawing maps or diagrams to illustrate specific points. For virtual presentations, I can adapt to various online platforms and will provide any necessary digital materials beforehand. If specific software or platforms are required, we can discuss these needs well in advance of the presentation.
How far in advance should I book you for an event?
For online presentations, I recommend booking at least one month in advance. This allows sufficient time for us to discuss your specific needs, tailor the content accordingly, and ensure all technical aspects are in order. For live presentations, I prefer to have at least two months’ notice. This extra time accounts for potential travel arrangements and allows for more extensive customization of the presentation to suit your audience and event goals. However, if you have a more urgent need, please don’t hesitate to reach out – I’ll do my best to accommodate your request.
